Gilbertsville – A.D. Moyer Lumber – voted #1 Window Dealer in the Tri-County area for ten consecutive years and #1 Home Improvement Store in the Tri-County area for the past three years – recently recognized six more employees for 25 years of service.
Third-generation co-owners Scott and Terry Moyer acknowledged the silver anniversary of six employees during a company meeting, presenting each with a gift certificate and an engraved watch commemorating the milestone. Recipients included Cory Hoffman, Brian Johnson, Ross Geiger, Dave Hughes, Mark Bowman and Chester Whisler.

Other current employees who surpassed the quarter-century mark in recent years are Jeff Kovacs, Luann Zambanini, Brian Moyer and Glenn Moyer. In addition Brian Schlegel, Rick Youse, Jack Peterman and Bonnie Kuser have each eclipsed 35 years of service with the company.
Factoring in the noteworthy tenure of these 14 individuals, current employees at A.D. Moyer average a respectable 17 years each in the industry.
Among the newest full-time staff members are the fourth generation of family helping to guide the business into its 74th year of operation. Terry’s son, Alex, works at the Pottstown store while Scott’s sons, Clint and Doug, are employed at the Gilbertsville location.
