Hardware Manager/Sales Associate
Summary: This individual will oversee the purchasing procedures, inventory control, staffing schedules, pricing, merchandising, special orders and hardware displays of the retail store in addition to providing friendly customer service, processing orders from customers for delivery/pickup and loading customers when needed.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following (other duties may be assigned):
- Ensuring that hardware parts are in stock and available for customers
- Marking special order tickets for customers
- Managing the inventory control functions of the store by documenting and controlling damaged product, resolving discrepancies and making necessary corrections
- Handling inter-store transfers of products
- Responding to inquiries (in store and in person) regarding product lines, pricing, and availability of hardware parts
- Assisting with the counter or floor sales.
- Setting up new product displays, taking down old displays
- Providing product signage and some store maintenance
- Managing price stickers
- Stocking Shelves – filling in empty shelf spots, fronting product that need attention, tending to aisles and their appearance.
- Receiving and unloading hardware products
- Cutting open pallets, reconciling shipping tickets with purchase orders
- Possessing a strong sense of accuracy both in product and quantity.
- Coordinating purchases amongst all store locations
- Designing and executing quarterly sales fliers
Supervisory Responsibilities: Lead, manage, and motivate a team of 6-8 employees in providing prompt, knowledgeable and friendly sales/service to our customers.

Education and/or Experience: High school diploma or equivalent
Mathematical Skills: A firm understanding of margins, markups and computation.
Availability: Monday through Friday 7am-4:30pm, Every other Saturday required 8am-12pm
