“In response to the prolonged downturn in the housing market, the management team at A.D. Moyer worked collectively over the past several months to make a comprehensive evaluation of our business operations,” said co-owner Scott Moyer. “We have determined that a strategic restructuring of these operations will help us to ultimately better serve our customers in the greater Douglassville area as well as our entire Tri-county service area.”
According to Moyer, employees from the Douglassville store have been reassigned to same or similar duties in the Gilbertsville and Pottstown stores. A.D. Moyer is also making significant capital improvements to its Gilbertsville and Pottstown locations including repaving, building maintenance and equipment upgrades in order to continue its exceptional level of service for all customers.

Moyer stated that the phone numbers for the Douglassville location will remain active and will be automatically forwarded to the Pottstown location. A.D. Moyer will continue to possess and maintain the Douglassville property, keeping options open for future business operations.
